You have always wished to trek gorillas but your time has always limited you? This 3 day Luxury gorilla trekking tour to Bwindi is then perfect for you. You will spend 3 days in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located in southwestern Uganda and home to half of the endangered mountain gorillas (approximately 630 individuals).. Depending on availability of gorilla permits at the time of confirmation, you may trek gorillas in Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga or Nkuringo

Arrival

DAY 01: To Bwindi NP for your luxury gorilla trekking tour

Depart Entebbe\Kampala for your 8-9 road transfer to  Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in South western Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to half the number of mountain gorillas in the whole world and is the only place where chimpanzees co-exist with Mountain Gorillas. You will have an en route stopover at the Equator crossing for photographic and simple experiment before continuing to Mbarara town for Lunch. After lunch, you will embark on your scenic drive through the Kigezi Highlands , also known th be the Switzerland of Africa,  to Bwindi NP or Kabale for overnight at Buhom Lodge or Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp.

DAY 02: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Trek. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the Park headquarter. This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge or Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp.

DAY 03: Drive to Entebbe/Kampala or Entebbe Airport

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala or Entebbe for your post tour accommodation or you may choose to fly out of Uganda today. You will use the same route enabling you to have a second stop over at the Equator.

Main Destination: Entebbe

Accommodation: End of Tour, No accommodation

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Drinks: Mineral Water

Safari Transport

4×4 Luxury Safari Land cruiser

We have luxury latest Land cruisers each driven by professionally trained driver guides and fuel. They have pop up roofs for proper game viewing and photography. They come with a small fridge for cooling your drinking water while on safari (which is always included while IN THE VEHICLE). They have inverters for charging small gadgets such as your smart phones and cameras. They can seat five to a maximum of seven people and each client is guaranteed of a window seat
