Traditional Rwandan liked their beer, made naturally from, of course, nature. It’s not potent, that’s banana beer mostly was used for social interaction.  From here you will go for lunch and later visit Gorilla Guardians for enchanting cultural experience, You will enjoy a cultural dances and drumming, try your hand at  bow and arrow, watch a local prepare herbal mixture and step into the traditional dwelling of the local king.                    Gorilla Guardian Village

On this day, spend this morning searching in the lush vegetation at the foot of Mount Sabyinyo for a beautiful little creature found only in the high-altitude forests of Virunga Mountain Chain. You’ll track the monkeys with a guide and you will spend an hour with them, once you locate the monkeys (a Troup of 50 or more members), you will often need to follow them as they are often on the move jumping from tree to tree with their long tails which is really entertaining but a little difficult to photograph! We recommend setting your camera to a fast shutter-speed to allow for low light in the dense undergrowth and to better your chances of capturing the golden monkeys on film. Later after lunch, you will drive to Lake Kivu (Rubavu) and check in at Paladis Malahide for dinner and an overnight.

Plus, the attractive urban center is one of the cleanest and safest cities in all of Africa. Sip bold, sustainable java at Question Coffee Café and venture to where the first modern building (Kandt house Museum) was built, which laid the foundations for Rwanda’s capital city; Kigali. Proceed to Nyamirambo Women Center for uniquely personal insight into the culture, history, and daily life of Nyamirambo community through the walking tour. It begins at the Women’s Center with a traditional snack, a quick Kinyarwanda language lesson, and an introduction to the Center and its activities. It then weaves through Nyamirambo, one of Kigali’s oldest neighborhoods. Along the way your guide will lead you into a women’s hairdressing salon where the adventurous type can get a free braid; into a family compound to pound cassava leaves; by two mosques and a lookout view over Kigali; and into a tailor shop to feel the fabrics you will otherwise see styled on the streets.  After lunch, proceed for an emotional visit to the Genocide Memorial Site and learn how the country has dealt with its past and recovered to stand today as a testament to humankind’s resilience.
