Day-By-Day: Detailed Itinerary;
DAY 1: Arrival to Uganda. The Pearl of Africa.
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, and welcome to the Pearl Of Africa -Uganda. Your trip manager meets, welcome and drive you to your hotel.
Wake up to an early breakfast and set off from your Hotel in Kampala on a 6 hours drive to Kibaale Forest National Park for an afternoon Chimpanzee Tracking. Kibale is a known as the Worlds Primates headquarters, where you will encounter the Chimpanzees and other species of primates in this forest . After the Chimpanzee experience, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a NightDepending on the time of arrival, you set off straight for your Hotel in Kampala and Prepare for your 10 Night / 11 days Uganda – Rwanda Albertine region / primates , wildlife and cultural safari.
Accommodation: Anomo Hotel or Koki Hotel, Kampala.
Day 2: To Kibaale National Park for Chimpanzee Tracking
Wake up to an early breakfast and set off from your Hotel in Kampala on a 6 hours drive to Kibaale Forest National Park for an afternoon Chimpanzee Tracking. Kibale is a known as the Worlds Primates headquarters, where you will encounter the Chimpanzees and other species of primates in this forest . After the Chimpanzee experience, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a Night.

DAY 3: Boat Ride and Tree climbing Lions – QENP
Wake up to normal breakfast, check out and head to the Pak Headquarters for the Mid morning Boat ride on the Kazinga Chanel; A 35kms natural water channel that connects lake George and lake Edward in Queen Elizabeth National Park,. It is a haven for animals, recording the world highest concentration of hippos, and also a bird’s paradise.
After the thrilling boat ride experience, embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a Mountain Gorilla pre-tracking preparation, via the southern sector of the QENP, popularly known for the tree climbing lions. . Arrive at your lodge in the evening, relax and prepare for the morning thill.

DAY 4: Face To Face with a Gorilla – Bwindi I NP
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Trek. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the Park headquarter. This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.
You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.
After the thrilling gorilla trek, you will take a late afternoon drive either to Lake Bunyonyi, African 2nd deepest lake, dotted with 29 islands, where each Island tells its own story.

DAY 5: Explore Lake Bunyonyi & the Batwa (Pygmy ) Village
Wake up to a lazy breakfast, and take a lazy ride across to the settlement of the Pygmies. These indigenous people have a story to tell on how they’ve co existed with the primates in the Virunga region and the post conservation life . aon your way back, you will visit island with touching story like the Akampene (punishment Island), Buchanangura (upside down Island ) and more….
Return to the lodge intime to catch up with the once in a lifetime sunset view, and the sun shyly disappears behind Mt Muhanvura, flashing beautiful reflections over the dotted lake..

DAY 6: CROSSING TO RWANDA FROM UGANDA
After your cup of Coffee/tea, you will drive to Cyanika (Rwanda –Uganda) boarder. After clearing the migration process, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park with lunch stopover in Musanze and overnight stay at Tiloreza eco lodge

DAY 7: BANANA BEER MAKING & CULTURAL VILLAGE
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to red-locks for banana beer making, join local women and Participate in banana beer production to understand the chemistry about the process of brewing a local beer from bananas fruits and learn how solid waste from banana fibers can be used to produce handmade eco-friendly paper. Traditional Rwandan liked their beer, made naturally from, of course, nature. It’s not potent, that’s banana beer mostly was used for social interaction. From here you will go for lunch and later visit Gorilla Guardians for enchanting cultural experience, You will enjoy a cultural dances and drumming, try your hand at bow and arrow, watch a local prepare herbal mixture and step into the traditional dwelling of the local king. DAY 8: GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING
On this day, spend this morning searching in the lush vegetation at the foot of Mount Sabyinyo for a beautiful little creature found only in the high-altitude forests of Virunga Mountain Chain. You’ll track the monkeys with a guide and you will spend an hour with them, once you locate the monkeys (a Troup of 50 or more members), you will often need to follow them as they are often on the move jumping from tree to tree with their long tails which is really entertaining but a little difficult to photograph! We recommend setting your camera to a fast shutter-speed to allow for low light in the dense undergrowth and to better your chances of capturing the golden monkeys on film. Later after lunch, you will drive to Lake Kivu (Rubavu) and check in at Paladis Malahide for dinner and an overnight.

DAY 9: LAKE KIVU
After breakfast, relax at the lodge and later go for a boat trip and a visit to the hot springs for a local foot or body message (Mud bath). You will indulge in the Rwandan body and foot message with the locals

DAY 10: TRANSFER TO KIGALI
Spend the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch we will drive back to Kigali and check in at Ubumwe Grande Hotel for overnight.

DAY 11: KIGALI CITY TOUR
Over the last two decades, Rwanda’s lush, hilly capital has developed into a vibrant cosmopolitan destination, teeming with art, culture, and cuisine. Plus, the attractive urban center is one of the cleanest and safest cities in all of Africa. Sip bold, sustainable java at Question Coffee Café and venture to where the first modern building (Kandt house Museum) was built, which laid the foundations for Rwanda’s capital city; Kigali. Proceed to Nyamirambo Women Center for uniquely personal insight into the culture, history, and daily life of Nyamirambo community through the walking tour. It begins at the Women’s Center with a traditional snack, a quick Kinyarwanda language lesson, and an introduction to the Center and its activities. It then weaves through Nyamirambo, one of Kigali’s oldest neighborhoods. Along the way your guide will lead you into a women’s hairdressing salon where the adventurous type can get a free braid; into a family compound to pound cassava leaves; by two mosques and a lookout view over Kigali; and into a tailor shop to feel the fabrics you will otherwise see styled on the streets. After lunch, proceed for an emotional visit to the Genocide Memorial Site and learn how the country has dealt with its past and recovered to stand today as a testament to humankind’s resilience. Note: Gorilla trekking is restricted to 8 people per group per day. So, availability of permits on a particular day for a particular habituated gorilla family determines the day of travel and gorilla family to track.
